Create Online quiz with Google Docs

You can now create online quiz using Google Docs Spreadsheet which you can also embed in your website to conduct surveys etc. The input received from quiz responses will be saved in a Google Spreadsheet.

Here’s how to create an online quiz using Google Docs Spreadsheet.

1. Sign in to Google Docs and create a new Spreadsheet.

2. Save your spreadsheet by clicking on Save.

3. Click on Share.

4. Select ‘to fill out a form‘ from Invite People.

5. Click on ‘Start Editing your form‘  button below the invite people area. A new window will open that ‘ll let you edit your form.

6.  Type your question under Question Title and you may also add some help text for your question. Select Question type from Question Type drop down list.

7. If you want to have a multiple choice quiz then select Multiple choice from Question Type. Other types are text, paragraph, checkbox, multiple selection list. I selected Multiple Choice. Now, type the options.

8. When you are done with the options click Done. You can also multiple questions to your quiz. Now you can click Save to save the quiz.

9. After saving, click on Preview and Send tab on top of window.

10. Preview and Send contains options to invite people to participate in your quiz.

11. You can also embed your quiz in a webpage or blog. To get html code for quiz, Click on Embed,  which is available on right side and copy the code and paste it on your webpage.

12. The responses to quiz will be saved in your spreadsheet file, which you can see later.
