TIF is an image format which is mostly used for scanned images. Multiple pages can be embedded within a single tif file. You’ll need to convert tif to jpg or gif if you want to share it on flickr or picasa. Here’s how to split multiple page TIF and convert it into JPG File.

TiffSplitter is nice lightweight utility to split and convert multiple pages TIF to individual jpg’s. After Installation, just select the folder where your tif files are located and select the destination folder to save output files.

If you want to convert individual pages to jpg tick Convert to JPEG and finally click Split and there you go, your tif image got converted to jpg’s. The free version allows conversion of only 2 tif files at a time. For Geeks command line tool is also available.

    I have faces the problem when I had scanned images and then I rescan everything and saved it in PDF

    @Joel: You may also scan your images directly in Photoshop or some other image editor and then save it.
