Orkut now has started to understand the value of allowing user to customize and control profile in a much better way. Earlier they added applications stuff and now, Orkut has officially launched themes to customize look of your profile.

This feature has been released to some selected users and presently not available to all users. Looks like they are testing this feature and ‘ll be released soon.

Go to Edit Profile and if you are one of the selected, there you’ll find a new tab for themes.

You can select one out of four themes, rest are labelled as ‘coming soon‘. Themes are very similar to ones in iGoogle.

Orkut has added one more feature for users of India. Sign in to Orkut and notice the url in Address bar of your browser, you’ll notice the domain name of orkut is orkut.co.in instead of orkut.com.
