Are you tired of reading more and more RSS Feeds in your favorite RSS reader??
If yes, then Blogbard has a solution for this problem. Blogbard is a service that lets you listen to RSS Feeds by converting text content to speech. The good thing about this service is that it is absolutely free.
It also lets you use your Google or Bloglines account, so that you can listen to RSS feeds you subscribed to in Google reader or Bloglines. Though you can listen to your favorite blogs by using their RSS feed url, you need to sign up with Blogbard if you wish to download the speech.
You can also have your own personalized radio airing content from your favorite blogs by embedding their player into your website. 
There are some other services like YakiToMe that even convert documents like pdf or doc besides RSS feed to speech, but you’ll have to wait for hours for the result. Blogbard works the moment you enter your RSS feed url.

I tried this Blogbard site and it crashed on me. I also tried the YAKiToMe! site you mentioned and it converted files for me almost instantly. I gave YAKiToMe! the full text of Mark Twain’s “Tom Sawyer” and it converted the book to a downloadable mp3 in a few minutes. The YAKiToMe! site has some really cool voices and some great search features. I really like it better than the Blogbard site.
