XP Service Pack 3 released by Microsoft

After a week’s delay of scheduled release of Service pack 3 for Windows XP due to some bug detected at last moment, Microsoft has finally released SP3 for normal users via Windows Update.

For single home users, it is a 66 MB download and the update page reads that SP3 must be installed separately from other updates and it’ll require to restart your computer.

IT Professionals and developers can download Windows XP SP3 as a 316 MB download which they can install on multiple computers over a network.
