Customize background of Folder in Windows XP

Ever thought of having customized background of folders in Windows XP? Though Windows 98 has inbuilt functionality to customize folder background but this feature was discontinued with release of Windows XP. Windowpaper XP is a nice freeware utility that lets you achieve this functionality in Windows XP.

Customize Folder Background in Windows XP

After Downloading and installing WindowPaper XP, run WindowPaper XP. You can select the folder you wish to customize. You can also apply changes to all sub-folders under that folder. Select an image file and change the text color if the need be and that’s it, your folder now has customized background. It’ll also provide you with a live preview of how your folder will look.

If you ever wish to return to default settings, you can simply select that folder in Windowpaper XP and click on Default button. Changes once applied to a folder can only be reversed via Windowpaper XP.
