For those Internet Explorer users out there, popular social bookmarking site Del.icio.us has released an official plugin to bookmark your favorite links directly to del.icio.us. This plugin works with IE6 and IE7 on both Windows XP and Vista.

This plugin is very similar to del.icio.us Firefox Plugin. It adds a sidebar to manage your bookmarks with tags, provides a toolbar with buttons that take directly to your recently bookmarked links.

It also adds three buttons near your Tools button in IE. You can use these buttons to add a bookmark, go to your del.icio.us page or open the bookmarks in sidebar.

The compatibility of this plugin with IE 8 is not gurranted.
