Many a times, we need to send large files via email but due to attachment limit imposed by most email providers, we’ve to look into other ways to send large files e.g. Splitting the files using some file archiver like WinRAR.

Here are three services using which you can send large email attachments for free.

1. Pando - Using Pando, you can send files up to 1 GB for free. It requires to install a client software for uploading and sending the files. Also to download the files, the recipient must also have Pando client installed on his system. With a paid account, you can send files up to 3GB in size with faster transfer rates. For free accounts, Pando keeps files for 7 days only. Also, the Pando Client works on Windows and Mac only.

Send This File2.  Send This File - Send this file allows you to send files without any restriction of file size. Also, it doesn’t require you to download and install any software. Though they throttle down transfer rate for free accounts, yet you can send large files easily using this service. You need to sign up with Send this file to use their service and you can send only single file at a time with free account.

3. YouSendIt - This service has file size limit of 100MB and you can send files directly from their website or using YouSendIt plug-ins available for various applications like Outlook, Photoshop etc. They impose a monthly bandwidth limitation of 1GB on free accounts with a restriction of sending only one file at a time.
