MySpace : rebirth

Next week, its rebirth for MySpace. News Corp’s MySpace is planning to launch a worldwide redesign next week aimed at increasing user engagement on the site.
The main relaunch phase is set for coming Wednesday i.e. June 18. MySpace is going to change the underlisted features for its new avatar :
- Main home page.
- Profile editing
- Navigation
- Search
- MySpaceTV player
A number of other features will also be changed but have not been publically declared.
MySpace said it was working with Lucene Open-Source engine and community, marking the first time MySpace has contributed to the Open-Source community.It said that this is a lot more than a mere facelift, they are going to change the way people have interaction with the site.
