PicLens – the popular extension for Firefox and IE that lets you search and view videos and images from popular websites like Flickr, Google Image Search, YouTube, PhotoBucket, Picasa and others with some nice 3D effects has released version 1.7 with these updates.

1. Discover Latest Content:

Now you can discover latest content like News, Sports, Movies, Technology, Fashion directly from within PicLens by clicking the Discover button available on top left side. Just Click on your favorite topic and it’ll find out latest images and videos related to your topic and show them in a non-ending 3D – bar.

2. Minimize PicLens:

Also, when you click to see the search result in browser, PicLens will minimize near your status bar of Firefox. Earlier, it used to close and had to be started again. Also, you can minimize PicLens by using Minimize button.

3. Shop at Amazon.com:

PicLens 1.7 now allows you to search Amazon for products which you can then buy. Whenever you search on amazon, It refines search results into categories using which you can easily find what you are looking for.
