The drive icons that Windows Vista uses to display Hard Disk Drives also show a bar which depicts the amount of space occupied and free on that drive. Ever Wondered if you could achieve similar functionality in Windows XP without having to open properties dialog for each drive.
Here is nice little utility for Windows XP that lets you achieve that.
DrvIcon is an open source freeware utility that makes drive Icons very similar to those in Windows Vista. It also keeps an eye on free disk space of a drive and makes the bar red in color in case free space is less.
