Relax your hand a bit by using cozy keyboard instead of mouse for using Yahoo! Mail. Here are some useful keyboard shortcuts for Yahoo Mail which let you roll through Yahoo Mail like a breeze.

1. Check for new mail in Inbox
To check for mail in Inbox press m on your keyboard. It’ll open your Inbox if it’s not open or it’ll check for new mail if it’s already open. Using Shift + m checks your mail including all POP accounts. This can be extremely useful in case you are eagerly waiting for arrival of a mail and repeatedly checking your mailbox.

2. Manage Tabs Effectively

To Close an open tab, press Ctrl + \ .To navigate between tabs use Ctrl + [ and Ctrl + ]. To open a message in its own tab, select the message and press Enter.

3. Manage Messages

To flag a message, select the message press L and to remove flag, press Shift + L. To mark a selected message as read, press k and to mark a message as unread press Shift+k. You can also select multiple messages and mark them read or unread using same shortcut.

To move a message to another folder, select the message and press d.

While reading messages, use Ctrl+.(a period) to open next message and Ctrl+, to open previous message.

4. Writing a Mail

Press n to open a new message tab to write a new mail. Ctrl + s can be used to save your message while writing. When you’re done with writing your message, press Enter or Alt+s to send mail.
