Imation Corp., a global enterprise in removable data storage media recently unveiled its latest product in line of external hard disk drives (EHDD). Bundled with features like ultra-slim sleek design, high capacity, latest technology, USB-powered Apollo Pro will be available in last quarter of 2008.
Talking about the physical structure, this model of Apollo EHDD is meagerly 1 inch wide, a weight of 0.35 pounds with a size that is not bigger than your palm.
The Apollo Portable Hard Drive comes with an easy-to-install and easy-to-use Total Media Backup(TM) software. Designed for use with both PC and Mac systems, desktops and laptops, the drive offers backup, schedule, synchronize and restore functions with just a quick click of the mouse and is preconfigured to backup all types of digital files.
Also, the drive is USB 2.0 powered. A blue LED light indicates when data transfer is in process to indicate when backups are complete.
Another EHDD from Imation (Apollo 320 GB) is now available through authorized Imation resellers (MSRP) ranging from $149.99 to $222.99.
