Orkut is now coming up with new features almost after a day or two. Recently they allowed themes and today, they rolled out a new photo tagging feature called ‘Photos of Me’.
Photos of Me lets you know which of your friends have your photographs in their photo gallery if they tag their photographs with your name.
With this feature, you won’t have to copy pictures from your friend’s photogallery to your photogallery. Your friend could just add a tag to the photograph with your name and ‘Photos of Me’ would provide you with the photographs tagged with your name and added by your friends.
Follow along to understand step by step procedure to add tags :
1. Login to Orkut and open one of your image in photogallery. Scroll down and you ‘ll find a add tag link. Click on it.

2. After Clicking add tag select a rectangular area on your photograph using mouse.
3. After you select the area and release the mouse button, a pop up will open up asking you to add person tag for the selected region. Type in your friend’s name.

4. Once you select friend and click save, whenever you bring mouse on the tagged region, it’ll show the name of the person whom you tagged with link to his profile. You can add multiple tags to single photograph.

5. Now whenever you visit your friend’s profile, it’ll show no. of photos tagged with your friend’s name under ‘Photos of Him’ and display them when you click on it.

The more your friends tag their photographs with your name, the more will be your Photos of Me count.
