Here is a good news for those of you unhappy with their Yahoo! Mail usernames. Yahoo will be launching two new domain names ymail.com and rocketmail.com to allow users to get their favorite usernames. As Yahoo! Mail has been there for past decade and is one of most popular Mail service since it started, now a days, it is almost impossible to get a Yahoo Mail username of your choice.

One has to look for those cryptic usernames like satbir287 or so, which are not only difficult to remember but also do not look professional.

But with Yahoo now allowing users to choose from yahoo.com, ymail.com and rocketmail.com domains, it’ll surely attract those users who moved to other mail providers for the sake of getting their favorite usernames.

This feature will be available from Thursday, 12 noon PDT. The features offered for ymail and rocketmail will be similar to existing Yahoo Mail, only the domain names will be different.

It is worth mentioning here that RocketMail was the Free Webmail service of late 1990’s that was acquired by Yahoo in 1997.
