MozBackup is a freeware windows utility that lets you backup all your firefox extensions, saved bookmarks, settings as a single file which you can use to restore your firefox to earlier state using MozBackup.

It backs up the Firefox Profile into a pcv file which you can store at a secured location. You can then easily use Mozbackup to restore Firefox in case you have reinstalled your Firefox or are using Firefox on a different system.

The pcv file created is basically a Zip archive, just rename it to *.zip and you can easily see its contents.
