How to Clean Up Windows Start Menu?
Windows Start Menu contains a lot of entries like Pictures, Music, Games etc. which are seldom used in case you store your pictures and movies in different drives or folders. If these entries are not to be used, then why not remove them to clean up Start Menu and keep only those entries which are used.
To Remove unwanted entries, fire up Group Policy Editor by typing gpedit.msc on Run(Win+R) dialog and press Enter. You might want to give permission to open Group Policy Editor.
Now head to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar. In the right pane you can find entries enabling whom will remove unwanted elements from Start Menu. e.g. Enabling Remove Pictures icon from Start Menu will remove Pictures from Start Menu.
Using these tweaks you can easily clean up Start Menu and keep only required entries.
