Freecorder toolbar, a product from Applian Technologies is a cool  toolbar that makes your surfing experience better. Just like other popular toolbars( Google, Yahoo toolbars), it provides the web searching capability to the browser but in addition to this it provides much more that would make you smile.

As I said earlier, Freecorder toolbar provides users the feature of searching the internet. But a lot more than just a custom search toolbar.

You can customize the toolbar to search in specific domains e.g. you can select Wikipedia and then search for your query. You will see results from Wikipedia. Similarly if you want to search for stocks, you need to select the stocks option in the drop-down list as shown in the image. Well, there is nothing new in this as Google and Yahoo toolbars also provide the same functionality. But Freecorder has got something different !! Read down rest of the post.

Radio Player: I liked this feature the most. You can listen to any radio station. Just go to Add and Edit Stations menu and listen to radio of your choice while you are surfing.

• Pop-Up Blocker: Block any pop-up ads that used to irritate you while surfing.
• Email Notifier: Get notified when you have a new email message in your account.

• Weather Forecaster: See the current temperature of the location set by you in the toolbar. its really cool.
