LionsGate Entertainment Inc and Youtube have signed a deal with which LionsGate will get a branded video channel to air movie clips of the the films like “Dirty Dancing”,”Saw”,  with some Tv clips. It is a revenue sharing agreement in which adds will be placed on the clips of assets of Lionsgate which will be aired on branded Lionsgate channel.

Actually this is very good for google because Youtube isn’t generating any revenue’s for them so something is better than nothing. Google is also looking for tie ups with other major hollywood studios as said by Eric Schmidt, CEO of google.
