Visual Subst is a little nifty utility for windows that lets you convert your folders into virtual drives. By converting your most accessed folders to virtual drives, you will have a single click access to your favorite folders.
Visual Subst is a visual implementation of subst command in DOS but with following advantages:
- Provides you with list of non-assigned drive letters to easily select one of them.
- As virtual drives created by subst command won’t be there when you restart your system, but Visual Subst allows you to load your virtual drives each time windows starts.
Visual Subst is a must have windows utility as it’s mere 112 KB in size but adds a very useful feature to your windows sytem.
