How to Hide Notification Area and Clock from Taskbar?
The notification area is on the right side of the Taskbar where the little system tray icons are located. The notification area can be removed from Taskbar if you want more room for open programs or other toolbars.
To remove Notification area, follow these steps:
1. Press Window Key + R and start Group Policy Editor by typing gpedit.msc and pressing Enter.
2. Move to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
3. Now in right side pane, look for Hide the Notification Area. Double click on it and select Enable and click OK.
4. Logout and Login to see the changes.
Now to remove the System Clock residing in Taskbar, right click anywhere on Taskbar and select Properties.

Under Taskbar tab, uncheck Show the Clock under Notification area section and click OK.
