Here’s the today’s tweak.
Create a shortcut on your desktop to shutdown your PC
Are you annoyed by the location of Shutdown option in Windows? Whether its XP or Vista, you always need to click on Start Button and then on Turn off and then it will give you an option to shutdown PC. Ah!! it’s so time consuming, isn’t it?
If yes, then why not create a desktop shortcut to immediately shutdown your PC with a click.
Right Click anywhere on your desktop and choose New > Shortcut. When prompted for location enter shutdown -s -t 01 and then click on Next and give your shortcut a name.
If you’re on Windows Vista, use shutdown /s /t 01 as the location of shortcut.

After clicking Finish, you’ll end up with not so good looking icon, just right click on it and open properties and choose some nice looking icon for it via Change Icon.
You can even play a prank with your friend by changing icon and name of your shortcut to something similar to already existing icon on his desktop.
