How to Speed up Menu Display?

Did you ever notice a delay between different tiers of Start Menu hierarchy? There is a delay period set by default between different tiers of the start menu.

Here’s how to make them appear instantly:

1. Go to run type regedit.

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop, and select MenuShowDelay from the list on right.

Speed up start menu

3. Right click on it and select Modify.

4. Change value to something lower, if you set it to 0, menus will appear almost instantly but that would make difficult to use Start Menu

5. Reboot your computer for it to take effect.
