How to Open Folders in a new Explorer Window?
This one’s pretty basic trick. If you need to open a folder in a new Explorer Window, simply double-click(or single click based on your setting) on that folder with Ctrl key pressed.
This works for opening a single folder in a new Explorer window.
But if you need to open multiple folders simultaneously in new windows, then follow these steps:
- Select folders by clicking on them with Ctrl key pressed.
- With Ctrl key pressed, right-click on any one of the selected folders and choose Open from the context menu.
Opening folders in new Explorer windows is useful in case you need to perform copy operation across multiple folders. You can simply drag n drop files or folders to other folders.
