Yahoo Buzz, the Digg like social content rating website from Yahoo is now open to all. Earlier, this service was available to only selected 400 publishers. Now anyone can submit a story on Yahoo Buzz and if it gets featured on front page of Yahoo Buzz, it could drive enormous amount of Traffic to the publisher just like Digg.

Yahoo will also use the top stories from Yahoo buzz as Featured stories on its front page. In addition to community votes, the search engine rankings of a website will also be considered in the algorithm used to fetch popular stories. The editorial team will also play a major part in driving up a story to front page.
