Well I am here with another post on Google :D. Yesterday it was about the upcoming photo album feature in Google Docs. And now Google has come up with another reason for smile for its users. Google Analytics account of every Analytics account user is now powered with a streamlined login. Let me first throw some light on what actually a streamlined login is, as some of the readers might be unfamiliar with this term.
Have you ever noticed that what happens when we close the browser window of our Gmail , Google Maps, Docs account etc. without logging out and then after a while return to any of these services’ home page? The answer is: you find yourself logged in automatically. This is called a streamlined log-in.
This feature has now been added to Google Analytics which was long awaited by bloggers and web developers who used Analytics frequently to view their blog’s, website’s statistics.
Also, from now onwards whenever any user visits Analytics homepage he would see this kinda button instead of login screen:
![]()
If the user is already logged in he will be directed to his account, else to the login screen.
Suggestion: Remember to sign out from your analytics account when on a public computer, as Analytics’ log-in is streamlined now ;).
