YouTube Olympics Channel Goes Live

As 8 August 2008 Sun has risen in China, so is the YouTube Olympics Channel. Youtube Olympics channel is now live and accessible at http://youtube.com/beijing2008. The best part is that all the vidoes will be organized into various categories like Athletics, Boating, Team sports etc.

The channel’s home page features some interesting videos about China. You can also view daily interesting clips and images under Images Section.

Youtube has struck a deal with IOC to showcase Olympic videos. Though this channel is not available in USA as NBC is the official broadcaster of Olympics in USA. But rest of the world can easily see all the Olympics stuff online.

Also, the videos shown on the official channel can only be viewed online and are not allowed to be embedded in web pages.
