“We’ve created a new search engine that’s by far the best out there for kids,” said Scott Garell, President of Ask.com, and it is quite true. It has been proven that visual learning helps children to learn very quickly than any other method. ASK KIDS provides you a very child friendly interface. For example the homepage of the site is just like a drawing book, which allows to draw anything on the page with sketches and stickers that rolls in when you open the site as shown below.

It is probably the safest search engine for children because each web site in the Ask Kids core search index was selected by the editorial team of Ask.com as child-appropriate or as a relevant and practical site for reference and learning. They have also studied all the websites that are linked to the indexed websites of ask kids and have filtered out all the adult content.
The way of presenting the search result is also very good. For example if a kid enters “George Bush” as his/her query then he/she will get multiple results including general text results, image results, encyclopedia results and current events as shown below.

It also allows you to narrow your search to some topics that are related to your query.

The other best feature of the search engine is the built-in schoolhouse option which includes different subjects like maths ,science, places etc. If you choose science then you can further choose from the subjects that are included in science like phsics, chemistry, biology etc.
