Google News Archives will now feature information from some old newspapers like Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, New York Times and Washington Post. Google News Archive Search will index digitally viewable versions of old newspapers which are a store house of lots of information about earlier periods.

The newspaper archives would be available for view for some specific searches for which information is available. For example, Searching for [Titanic Located] will show up some of the results containing link to digitally viewable newspaper archives.

Currently, these types of results show up for few queries like [Americans Walk on Moon], [nixon space shutter] but in future, the archives will be expanded to include more newspapers. Google also plans to include these historical archives into their main search results.
