I totally agreee with the author. If Google had to launch chrome beta, they should have atleast provided the above listed features.

Search result:the address bar is search/address bar. just type the word it will offer alternatives
ADD on: to be developed by the community.will happen soon.For now visit http://blogote.com/2008/resources/google-chrome-with-firefox-addon.html
No warning for closing window: Here each tab is independent you can drag a tab and prioritise.
Other features to be developed by the community and I am sure Google community will be in within a short time. I donot think this will be flop show.

The points above u have mentioned don’t depthify the whole saga of chrome as many of the features which r overwhelming over the firefox remains unpinched.

I find no disadvantage, quite the contrary, in having Chrome, Opera and FireFox open all at the same time.

That’s all well and good, and I agree with your synopsis, but isn’t the whole point of a Beta just that – a testing of the water, a way of opening up all these ‘faults’ before the final release? Is it not possible that Chrome will have add-ons in the future, and right clickable history items? I sure hope so, my feelings are that this is a good browser – and its ‘horses for courses’ – I find no disadvantage, quite the contrary, in having Chrome, Opera and Chrome open all at the same time.
