Google provides its users with a number of facilities like online TV viewing via Google Video, search suggestions via Google Suggest etc.. This post is about what new features has Google integrated with these online tools.
What is playable on Google Video?
Google Video has come up with a new feature in which the search results shown on Google Video will allow users to immediately find out whether a particular video is playable on Google Video or not.

A small “Play Video” icon displayed just before the video duration will distinguish between the playable and non-playable video on Google Video.
However users can also restrict their search by checking the radio button that says “Videos playable on Google” as shown. This will display only those videos that are playable on Google .
Google Suggest Updated
Google Suggest is coming up with a new feature of anonymizing the stored information of Google users. Generally what happens that of the all user generated queries, 2% of requests (which Google selects randomly), are logged( stored ) by Google, like IP addresses, in order to monitor and improve the service.
Considering the privacy of users, by the end of this month Google will update the Google Suggest , that will start anonymizing this stored information within 24 hours. However Google claims that it is possible to anonymize the information about users almost immediately, but in other cases – such as their core web search – storing data like IP addresses for a time is crucial to make improvements to search quality, improve security, fight fraud and reduce spam.
