Google Maps with High Resolution Imagery

Soon Google Maps will show high resolution images in Google Maps as Google will have access to Geo-1 Satellite imagery. The Geo-1 satellite can capture at .41 meters in black and white and 1.65 meters in color but due to security reasons, Google Maps will show imagery in 50 centimeters resolution.
Geo-1 has started capturing images for Google Maps and soon high resolution images will be part of Google Maps. Here’s a comparison of image captured by Geo-1 satellite with current imagery at Google Maps.
