Google Chrome Updates to Beta 3

Google-Chrome Google today silently released updated version of its sleek and fast browser Google Chrome. The beta 2 version which was released 2 months ago got much attention from users. Though a lot of issues were reported regarding its stability and performance, yet it is one of the fastest browsers on the planet. With Google releasing update for Google chrome, it looks like a lot of issues would now be fixed.

This update fixes some stability issues with Flash, Quicktime and Silverlight. It also addresses issues of pop-up spoofing vulnerability.

To Update your exisiting installation,

click on customize and Control Google Chrome icon and then click on About.

It’ll check for updates automatically and then you can click on Update Now button to update Google Chrome to beta 3.

After updating it’ll ask you to restart Google Chrome for changes to take effect.

I tried viewing some online movie sharing sites like YouTube, Metacafe etc. and changes are perfectly visible, the issues with flash players seem to be finished now in new Google Chrome 0.3.

    I hesitate to use even upgraded versions of Chrome, since my last experience using it (first version) left my computer compromised; have they fixed the security issues beyond all doubt?

    I have only today downloaded Google Chrome and will be road testing it over the next few months. At the present l cannot report any problems.

    Prior to adding Google Chrome l have utilised a number of additions to my desktop with google aps and found some better than others, but overall l have no major complaints as l did with others.
