Now you won’t have to worry about CD/DVD drive of your PC, the next time kids arrive at your place. CD/DVD Drive Locker is a nice freeware utility that locks the eject button of CD/DVD drive and prevents opening of drive tray when the eject button is pressed, which all kids love to do.

Just run it and select the drive you wish to lock and that’s it, Your CD/DVD drive’s eject button is locked and can’t be used to open the tray now.

One thing it misses out is that it doesn’t detect the present state of drive tray and if you lock a drive with tray open, the eject/close button of CD/DVD tray won’t work, and tray would need to be manually pushed in.
