Now you can get a personalized page showing thumbnails of your most visited websites in Firefox just like Google Chrome. Google Toolbar 5 Beta 2 includes this feature, so that you can access your most visited websites quickly without having to type a word.
After installing Google Toolbar 5 Beta 2, just browse some websites so that Google Toolbar can capture thumbnails of your favourite websites. Now whenever you open a new tab in Firefox, it’ll show you a personalized page just like it is in Google chrome. Also, your recent bookmarks and recently closed tabs are also displayed.
Though Google Toolbar keeps track of your visited websites to find out most visited websites, but according to Official Google Blog, this data is kept locally on your system and is not sent to Google servers. So, hopefully, privacy shouldn’t be a concern.
Another cool feature is that you have the option to choose which thumbnails are displayed, just click on Edit thumbnails link at the bottom.
This personalized new tab page will surely save you a few seconds that you used to type in few words at Firefox’s awesome bar.
