Open Multiple Links on a Web Page with Single Click in Firefox

Sponsored Links

At some point while surfing the Internet, you might wish to open multiple links on a web-page each in its own separate tab, this happens when you just found a new online resource e.g. a blog, and want to open all its popular or recent articles. Clicking on each one of the links with scroll bar or Ctrl+Click would be a pain, but with SnapLinks add-on for Firefox, you can simply create a selection around links and they’ll open up in separate tabs.

Open Multiple Links in Firefox Tabs

After installing this add-on, head over to your favourite website and make a selection around multiple links by keeping right click pressed, the links count will show up in status bar of Firefox. On releasing the mouse button, all the links under selection area will open up in tabs.

And if you do not wish to open multiple links, but copy them to clipboard or download them, then make selection while holding Ctrl key, this’ll give you a options menu like the one shown below.

Multiple Link Open Options

By default, Snap Links will prefer links which are bolder and add them to selection. To select all the links in the selection area, hold down Shift key while making selection so that each and every link in selection area is included.

Another feature is that once you made a selection and haven’t released yet, you can hold down Alt key to move your selection area.

Snap Links opens links in new tabs by default, which you can change via its options under Tools > Add-ons. You can also make it bookmark your selected links or just copy them to clipboard or download them.
