If you would like to closely monitor latest score on a sports website or latest updates on a certain topic on twitter, then you might feel a bit annoyed to click on refresh button on your browser toolbar every now and then. Here are 6 Tools that reload web pages automatically for you so that you can effortlessly keep up with what’s latest.

1. Site Reloader

Site Reloader

With Site Reloader, you can just enter the URL and the interval after which to reload that web page. It’ll open the URL into a new window(tab) and will automatically refresh the web page after specified interval. The best part of this service is that you can have multiple URLs refresh automatically each with its own time interval. And if you sign up with them, you can save your lists for later use.

2. Page Reboot

Page Reboot

Page Reboot is similar to Site Reloader with the difference that it allows only single URL at a time. Its advantage is the bookmarklet which you can add to your bookmarks toolbar and click on it anytime you need a web page to refresh automatically.

3. ReloadEvery

Reload Every Firefox Addon

ReloadEvery is a Firefox Add on that adds a drop down menu next to reload button in the toolbar which gives you option to reload web page automatically after specified interval. You can even right click anywhere on the web page and click on Enable under ReloadEvery option.

4. Check4Change

Check4change Firefox Add-on

Check4Change is another Firefox add-on that can check for updates automatically but the difference of this add-on from ReloadEvery is that it won’t reload whole of the web page but the region you define by selection on a web page. To check a portion, just select it right click on it and select Check4Change and define the interval. Once it finds an update, it’ll change the favicon of the tab or you can set it to give you a sound alert or show a alertbox.

5. Fire Clip

Fireclip Gallery

Fireclip is yet another Firefox plugin, but its working is entirely different from above mentioned tools. With Fireclip, you can make clips out of web pages that you would like to track for updates and add it to Fireclip Gallery. The next time you open Fireclip Gallery, it will just load the clips you added to your gallery without requiring you to check those pages that clips belong to.

6. Tryagain

Tryagain is another Firefox add-on that does not check normal web pages but those web pages that do not load due to network timeout or other type of server error. It’ll keep on trying the URL entered into address bar until it loads properly.
