Ever wanted to create a time lapse video of your favorite site just like Digital Inspiration’s Amit Agarwal, then you need to capture screen shots of a web page after some fixed time interval. Here’s a nice utility that’ll let you do exactly that.
With SiteShotr, you can specify the site URL, time interval between each screenshot and specify a naming convention for saving screen-shots of your favorite site and leave the rest to SiteShotr, just hit start and SiteShotr will start the job and continue taking screen shots of web pages after specified interval until you click on stop.
You can even adjust the browser width an height and automatically crop the screen shot to capture a particular region of a webpage.
Once you capture all the screenshots, you can import them to your favorite video editor or even Windows Movie Maker will do the job for you to create a time lapse video.
Another nice thing about SiteShotr is that it is a portable application and does not need installation. You can also save your settings and SiteShotr will remember everything next time you start it.
