If you are missing out Snipping Tool, a lightweight screen capture utility, which is shipped by default in some versions of Windows Vista, then try PrtScr.
It’ll add a stylish screen capturing snipping tool to any version of Windows with more features than that you would get in default Snipping Tool in Windows vista.
When you hit PrtScr, you can not only capture rectangular selections but freehand selections as well. Also it lets you annotate your screen captures. For freehand captures, hit PrtScr and start creating region using left mouse button. And if you need rectangular selection, then hold Ctrl while you select area using Mouse.

Once you capture a screenshot, you can directly send it to desktop or click on Edit to edit it with paint or you can copy it to clipboard to use your favorite image editor.
One thing i really liked about this tool is that when you capture a screen shot, it’ll start floating around on desktop in 3D motion, that’s a nice eye candy.
