Few days ago, rumors spread out that Windows 7 will be released on October 23 as confirmed by two Acer executives. While Microsoft has always maintained that Windows 7 will be released in 2010, but this time Microsoft executives at Tech Ed North America 2009 announced that Windows 7 will be available from this yearβs holiday season.
Bill Veghte, senior vice president of the Windows Business Unit at Microsoft said that due to early RC testing and huge amount of feedback from partners, Windows 7 will be ready for release by this holiday season.
