7Stacks is a freeware tool that lets users have stacks of icons in their taskbar(Windows7) or Quick Launch bar(Vista & XP). In Windows7, you can only pin up programs to the Windows Explorer and that is quite annoying . 7stacks brings solution to this problem. You can browse folders within the 7stack folder with a single click .

It is a small program(about 800Kb) and after installing it you need to specify the folder which you want to use as a stack. Make sure that you have included all the favorite shortcuts & folders in that folder. You can even use any icon you want for this folder. After that, just make a desktop shortcut and drag this folder to the taskbar(Win7). Apart from the Stack view you can also display the contents as Grid view or Menu type view.

7Stacks can also be used to pin folders that you don’t want on your desktop and reduce the icon clutter on the desktop.

Overall, 7stacks is a productive and easy to use tool that gives you a quick access to your favorite folders and programs.
