You may think you are secure in Web2.0 but there are websites that are able to retrieve your browsing history through some simple scripts. WebCollage2.0 does just that, it will build a collage of icons by sniffing your browser’s history. This application limits itself to displaying only polite sites. In a similar way some other websites may be able to know your browsing habits.
The solution to this security theft is the firefox add-on NoScript. When you install Noscript all the javascripts, java , flash silverlight and other executable content are blocked by default. You can enable the scripts for the sites you trust. You can also temporarily allow scripts for a site while randomly surfing or you can permanently allow the scripts for the sites you visit quite often.
Noscript is essentiall add-on when it comes to dealing with script related security and I recommend you to install this add-on if you visit a lot of interactive web pages daily.
