SceenCastle is a one click screencast recorder and hoster. You do not need to install any software , it runs directly in your browser. Screencastle is a java based tool, if you have java installed on your PC then you just need to visit the ScreenCastle and click on the big record button.

After recording the screencast it will generate the link for the FLV file and it also gives you the option to embed the video file on various websites. The image quality is nice but the video frame rate is not  much impressive.

Well, you can’t compare ScreenCastle to softwares like Camtasia Studio but it does gives you a quick alternative to record your screencasts.
