The traditional way switching windows i.e ALT-TAB isn’t  that amazing and doesn’t offer much information about the windows we are switching to. VistaSwitcher is an elegant task  management utility that offers an excellent inerface to switch between windows. It replaces the default Alt+tab with a nice  box that gives you a preview of the window that you have  selected. With just one click, you can switch to a task, minimize, maximize, restore the main window or close the process.

VistaSwitcher works best with systems having windows aero support(Windows 7 & Vista). The main features are Live window and desktop previews under Windows Vista and 7, Task list with mouse-over selection, Outstanding UI, semi-transparent backgrounds and antialiased fonts and it is free to use. Once you have brought the alt-tab dialog, you can use S,C,V, H, X & M to select multiple windows, Cascade Windows, Tile Vertical, Tile Horizontal, Close and Minimize respectively.

Overall, it is really cool way of switching windows certainly better than the traditional Alt-tab thing and offers the eye-candy features and increased usability.
