Firefox Throttle is nice, little plug-in for firefox that might come handy for some people that have limited data plans. It keeps a check on the download and upload rate for all open windows/tabs and downloads. You can check the data usage in the current session and also the total data usage.
It also has the option for some IP addresses that you do not want to throttle in the form of configurable lists. In addition it has Traffic stats, Status panel with current bandwidth utilization indicators and English and Russian User Interface.
