LG Optimus black is yet another addition to the Android based phones in the LG’s premium Optimus Series. Optimus Black is a sleek phone just 9.3mm thich and features a large 4″ Capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480. It is running the v2.2 of the Android OS and will be upgradable to to the Gingerbread(v2.3).

The secondard outward facing camera is 2MP that is meant for video calling, but the primary camera is unspecified at this point of time, it is expected to have a 5MP camera with auto focus. The memory will be expandable up to 32GB with a Micro SD card.

LG Optimus Black will be released in the Q2 of 2011 and its estimated price in India will be around INR 16000 i.e USD 350.
