But now with this new Gmail Labs feature Inbox Preview, you can view a preview of your Gmail Inbox to decide whether it is worth loading Gmail or not.

Once you enable Inbox Preview in Gmail’s Labs settings, you can know whether it is worth to load Gmail inbox while it is loading.

Gmail now Automatically Translates Messages to Your Language

Now language won’t become a barrier if your email buddy uses a different language or lives on the other end of the world. With new Gmail Labs feature, Automatic Message Translation, you can directly translate the message with a single click.

Once you enable this feature in Gmail Labs settings, you’ll find a link on top of every message asking you to Translate message.

So next time you receive a message in other language, you can directly translate the message within gmail. This feature uses Google translate, so all languages that are supported by Google Translate will work.

Google Auto Suggest Now Saves you Lot of Clicks

Google You might already be getting suggestions for keywords as you type into Google search box. And now, this feature of Google search has been updated and it has become more intelligent than before.

If you are searching for ‘”msn, yahoo mail, new york time”, Google classifies them as navigational queries as you intend to go to the target site. The updated intelligent auto suggest will now provide you with a direct link suggestion for navigational queries saving you lots of clicks.

Also, the Google Search and I’m Feeling Lucky buttons are now within suggestions box so that you don’t feel they are lost.

Another addition is that if you are logged in to your Google account with Web History enabled, the auto suggest will take hints from your past search history.

The auto suggest feature now extends to search result pages too.

This new feature of Google Search might not be available to your account yet, but you can use this hack as explained by Google Operating System blog.

3. Reload the page and you’ll be able to use new features of auto suggest.

Quickly Edit Your Images With Pixer.Us

Pixer.Us is a nice online image editing tool that can be handy if you are away from your favorite desktop image editor. It offers a lot of features that you expect from a decent desktop based image editor.

Just upload the image and then you can crop, resize, rotate, flip your image easily and quickly.

Simultaneously Search Twitter and Google

While Google can help you find out exact answers to your queries, Twitter can be a great resource to learn about what people are talking related to your search query. For example, while buying a product, you can use Google to get reviews for a product and use Twitter search to find out what people say about that product in real time.

Twoogle is web based tool that lets you search Twitter and Google simultaneously. Type in your query and hit Enter and Twoogle will bring you results from twitter and google and show them in two panes within same window.

Windows 7 To Be Out This holiday Season

Windows 7 Final Few days ago, rumors spread out that Windows 7 will be released on October 23 as confirmed by two Acer executives. While Microsoft has always maintained that Windows 7 will be released in 2010, but this time Microsoft executives at Tech Ed North America 2009 announced that Windows 7 will be available from this year’s holiday season.

Bill Veghte, senior vice president of the Windows Business Unit at Microsoft said that due to early RC testing and huge amount of feedback from partners, Windows 7 will be ready for release by this holiday season.

The release of Windows 7 in holiday season might become a good reason to buy a new PC for many people.[source]

Register For Microsoft Office 2010 Preview

Microsoft Office 2010 If you are looking to get your hands on Microsoft’s upcoming Office 2010 suite, then here’s a chance to try out the technical preview of MS Office 2010, which is set to be released to testers and developers in July.

Unlike Windows 7, this preview will not be available to everyone but only to those who get special invitation from Microsoft.

And to send the invitations, Microsoft is accepting registrations which though do not guarantee an invitation but you might be one of the lucky few to get an invitation to try out MS Office 2010 technical preview.

Log Into Multiple Accounts on Same Website With IE8

IE8 New Session

Internet Explorer 8 has a nifty feature that hasn’t been known to many. It has an option called New Session under File menu that lets you log into multiple accounts on a single website simultaneously. For example, if you have multiple Gmail accounts and want to operate them simultaneously, then this feature of IE8 will be quite useful.

To start a New Session window, press Alt key in IE 8 window and File menu will be visible.

And if you like the command way then hit Win+R(to open Run dialog) and type in iexplore.exe -nomerge and press Enter to start a new session window.

Check if Your PC Can Run Windows 7

windows 7 If you haven’t tried out Windows 7 RC or Beta yet and are wondering whether your hardware will be able to run Windows 7 with its eye-candy features, then use the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor  tool from Microsoft.

It’ll scan your computer hardware and will give you a report to let you know whether your computer will be able to handle Windows 7 or not. If not, then it can recommend hardware upgrades you can make to support Windows 7.
