Use Firefox location bar as a search box

What you do when you have to search the web using Google search engine ? Very obvious!! If you are a Firefox 3 user you’ll type the query in the search box provided next to the location bar. But what you do when you want to see the results from Wikipedia ?? Again very obvious, you click the search box logo and select Wikipedia from the pull-down list of search engines and then type your query into the search box and hit enter. Very simple but quite time consuming !! Ain’t that?? If you feel so then I bet, this article will be very beneficial for you.

File and Folder names not visible in thumbnails view?????

Sometimes it happens that file and folder names are not visible in thumbnails view of any drive in windows. The general reason explained for this by many people is some problem in windows. But it is totally wrong. It is just an option available in windows with which one can show or hide filenames in thumbnails view. Lets see how we can change the option.

How to format USB flash drive to NTFS ?

Formatting your USB flash drive to NTFS is just like a child’s play. Just follow the undergiven steps to perform the formatting.

  1. Click Start menu.
  2. Right click My Computer and select Manage.
  3. Double click the Device Manager and find your USB drive under the “Disk Drives” heading.Device Manager
  4. Right click the drive and select Properties.
  5. Click Policies tab and select the “Optimize for performance” option.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Open My Computer.
  8. Select Format on the flash drive.
  9. Choose NTFS in the File System dropdown box.
  10. Device Formatting is completed.
