Yahoo Buzz, the Digg like social content rating website from Yahoo is now open to all. Earlier, this service was available to only selected 400 publishers. Now anyone can submit a story on Yahoo Buzz and if it gets featured on front page of Yahoo Buzz, it could drive enormous amount of Traffic to the publisher just like Digg.

This will allow people to build their own search engines based on Yahoo’s techonology. The microsoft-yahoo deal which was said to be dead a few weeks ago, isn’t really dead. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn a major shareholder of yahoo has written an open letter to the shareholders of yahoo in which he has discussed his meeting with Steve Ballmer CEO of microsoft. According to him microsoft is still interested in an agreement with yahoo but the deal can be done only if a new yahoo board is elected. This was also confirmed by microsoft.

1. Check for new mail in Inbox
To check for mail in Inbox press m on your keyboard. It’ll open your Inbox if it’s not open or it’ll check for new mail if it’s already open. Using Shift + m checks your mail including all POP accounts. This can be extremely useful in case you are eagerly waiting for arrival of a mail and repeatedly checking your mailbox.
